How we test SeniorMatch
Elena tested SeniorMatch inside a Premium account provided for this review, active 16 September to 15 October 2026. SeniorMatch gave us the account; we did not buy it, and that is the reason nothing on this site carries a score.

Who tests
Elena researches and writes every page here. She reads SeniorMatch's own pages first, then checks each claim inside a real account before it goes on this site. She works at SeniorMatch, which is the reason this site gives no score and shows its evidence instead. Elena holds the accounts we test on and stays signed in, so the figures here are the ones a member sees on screen. The full disclosure sets out her working relationship with SeniorMatch and what it changes.
The account we used
SeniorMatch provided the Premium membership for the period 16 September to 15 October 2026; we did not buy it. Auto-renew is off. The payment details screen shows it as a bonus on the account rather than a card charge, which is why we describe it as provided, not purchased.

What we read
Every price, rule and limit on this site was read on a recorded date. Here is what we read and when. SeniorMatch dates its own FAQ answers, so where a rule comes from the FAQ we cite the date on that answer rather than the day we happened to read it.
| Checkout page | The plan prices inside the account: $33.99 for one month, $69.99 for three, $109.99 for six read 16 September 2026 |
|---|---|
| Public cost page | The same three prices on seniormatch.com read 16 September 2026 |
| Messaging FAQ | The rule that a free member cannot start a conversation dated 13 July 2026 |
| Service agreement | The 3 business day refund window dated 12 May 2026 |
| Verification flow | The selfie video check, required of every member in force since 14 April 2025 |
| Filters, privileges, privacy | The 40 Premium privileges, the advanced filters, and the profile visibility settings read 16 September 2026 |
The public cost page showed the same three prices as the checkout page on the day we read both.
How we sampled the gallery
To see which profiles this account is actually shown, we read the Discover feed as we found it on 16 September 2026, with no location filter taking effect. The Living in control still held a setting left over from an earlier visit, but the feed did not apply it, so what we read was the worldwide stream. The profile on that account is a woman of 63 looking for men, so the feed is what SeniorMatch shows someone in that position. We captured 40 profile cards and counted them. One account, one day. We publish the totals and nothing about individual members.
| US members | 0 of 40 |
|---|---|
| Marked open to relocating or traveling | 27 of 40 |
| Median age | 52 |
| Aged 65 or older | 6 of 40 |
On 17 September 2026 we tested the US filter directly. With Living in set to United States (California, then any state) the Discover gallery for our account returned "No members found"; the account seeks men, age 50 to 99, other filters at default. We repeated the test after a hard refresh and in a separate session, and the gallery stayed empty. We changed only the filter controls, sent no messages and edited no profile, then set the location to Anywhere when we finished.
Why a conditional verdict, not a score
We do not give SeniorMatch a number.
We work with someone at the company, so any number we picked would be worth nothing to you. Instead we state two conditions. If the free search in your state shows active profiles at a distance you would actually travel, one month is a bounded test. If it does not, paying will not create people who are not there. Both conditions carry the fact behind them and the date we checked.
What we did not do
We did not send messages to members, so we cannot report reply rates. We did not check the in-app price on an Android phone, so the numbers here are the web checkout prices. We did not contact SeniorMatch support as a customer. Inside the account we only read pages and moved filter controls: no winks, no likes, no messages, no profile edits.
How often we re-check
Prices move, so we re-check them once a month. When a price changes we update the number and date the change on the page it appears on; when nothing has changed we still refresh the date, so you can see the price was confirmed rather than left to go stale. The next check is due 17 October 2026.
Corrections
If a price, rule or date here is wrong, or you work at SeniorMatch and think something is off, email contact@seniormatchreview.com and we will fix it and note the date.
